ABOUT THE AUTHOR
From the Author's Pen:
Namaste ,
Hailing from the vibrant tapestry of Bharat, I have been privileged to inherit the profound research of my esteemed senior, who has meticulously analyzed over 1.5 lakh individual horoscopes. This invaluable corpus is accompanied by a succinct synopsis of two pages for each individual, highlighting the pivotal events that have shaped their lives.
In the pursuit of astrological knowledge, I have dedicated myself to the study of horoscopes from individuals around the globe, subject to the constraints of time availability.
It would be remiss of me not to express my deepest gratitude and reverence to my mentors and preceptors, whose unwavering guidance and benevolent blessings have illuminated the path towards a deeper understanding of SamayVidya (Astrology). Their continuous motivations and inspirations have been instrumental in my journey to comprehend the profound intricacies of this ancient science.
Out of respect for privacy and in deference to my senior's wishes, I shall refrain from disclosing his identity. However, I am compelled to acknowledge his profound generosity and the pivotal role he has played in my astrological education.
For the past decade, I have immersed myself in the study of various astrological systems, and I take great pleasure in sharing the captivating insights which have been gleaned from a number of studies.
In the Kishkindha Kand of Valmikiya Ramayan, Lord Shri Rama proclaims: ''करोति कालः सकलं संहरेत कालएव हि। कालः स्थापयते विश्वं कालाधीनमिदं जगत्'' II
This verse translates to: "In this world-Destiny is the root cause of all. Destiny is the means of all our actions. Destiny employs us in various deeds. It is the guide of all our actions. No person is absolutely free to do any work himself nor is he capable of engaging others in some work. Even God, the cause of the universe, cannot influence Kala and Destiny. God perhaps does not interfere in the operation of the Law of Kaal".
In short, the idea of destiny and the cycle of time (kaalchakra) remind us that nothing lasts forever and everything is connected. Trying to control or make things permanent in a constantly changing world is ultimately pointless.
Before delving into the realm of astrology, I wish to emphasize that God is the ultimate authority and not the astrologers.
"The astrologer is born, not made. It is as impossible to manufacture a perfect astrologer by education as to manufacture a poet. Hence the disrepute into which the profession of astrology too lightly and numerously followed has fallen in the Kaliyuga. In addition, nine tenths of the true science are lost and the little that remains, is replete with errors. Astrologers make lucky hits or stumble on the truth, but it is only a rare genius here & there who can predict correctly and even he is never safe against error. For even when his intuition divines correctly, his authorities mislead him." — Sri Aurobindo
This passage highlights the inherent limitations and challenges faced by astrologers in the Kaliyuga. It underscores the need for humility, continuous learning, and a deep understanding of the complexities of astrology to avoid errors and misconceptions.
Any suggestions for improvement are welcome.
Warm Regards, Abhishek Singh
